Therapy can be a very personal experience, it is difficult to generalize what individual therapy means in one box. In all areas of practice I often work outside of the box, as we humans are generally more complex than one framework or approach. Through individual counselling I will offer you a safe, compassionate, and non-judgemental space to explore whatever you are going through at the moment. I bring genuine curiosity and respect to each session; I have a terrific memory and exceptional listening skills. Sometimes, therapy can be as simple as feeling heard and validated, sometimes it’s a lot more intense and complicated. Whatever your needs may be, I am here to support you in this process.

Being a part of a couple can be hard. We bring so much of our individual histories, attachments, triggers, and perceptions into the relationship, which is not always easy. Couples therapy can encourage people to work on their relationship in ways that complement and enhance the bond with their mate.

My approach aims to help family members resolve conflicts and explore effective and respectful ways of listening and responding to each other. Depending on the goals of the family, we work together to ensure there is space for each individual within the family system. Family dynamics are often complicated as we strive for personal growth within the family unit, and can be met with adversity by the ones we love the most. Family therapy can help strengthen the connections we share with parents, siblings, and others by stepping outside of our learned patterns.
